Hilda, the youngest child of Frank and Katrina Kloewer Mueller, was born June 24, 1914 and was educated in Westphalia. She worked at home, and with her sisters, cared for her parents in their declining years. She was the first nurse's aide hired when the Little Flower Haven opened in 1964. From 1966-1974, she worked as a housekeeper at Myrtue Memorial Hospital. Hilda was always active with the Blue Circle's work for the Medical Missions, and she sewed hospital gowns and assembled layettes for many years. ===== Arrangements and Services For Hilda M. EARLING -- Hilda M. Mueller, 89, Earling, died Monday, Oct. 27 at the Little Flower Haven Nursing Home in Earling. Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Churchin Harlan with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery at Westphalia. Mueller is survived by nieces and nephews. Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
