   Another name for Jean was John Thomser; Johann THOMSER.

  General Notes:

Civil War pension documents for Louis Thomser indicate that he was about 10 years old when he emigrated from Lorraine to the USA, around the year 1854. At this point, it is being assumed that Louis came with his parents although no records have yet been found showing a John Thomser in the US.

Jean married Marguerite BURGUN, daughter of George BURGUN and Marie Anne KAYSER, on 21 Jan 1834 in Goetzenbruck, Moselle, France. (Marguerite BURGUN was born on 12 Jul 1812 in Goetzenbruck, Moselle, France.)
