HKO mentiones that Jost had 2 sisters (Dorothea and Nette) and a niece, who, 10 years before the marriage of Jost, were accused of being witches. They were tortured. Dorothea was acquited due to her persistance and the support of her husband Jost.

I am assuming he is the brother of Dorothea/Elisabeth because of the remarks in HKO Folge 217, page 303 and remarks by Friedrich Schulte.

Jost married Elisabeth BEYER gt. LANDKNECHT, daughter of Johannes LANDKNECHT and Unknown.
